Family Photoshoot!

Well, last Saturday we spent the whole day getting ready and driving down to Hollister to take some family pictures. Just picking out the outfits is stressful enough for me! But when it was time to go we had to wake all the babies to put them in the car (because Eva & Ella have not been always good about taking their naps and fell asleep too late!). Then Anna and Madeline started feeling sick to their stomachs about 15 minutes into the drive (which always happens wherever we go). I told Dan, "We are not doing this again. It is not worth it!" When we got their Eva was very shy and wouldn't let me put her down, while Ella just started walking around and looking at things. The photographer is a good friend of our family and was in my ward growing up in Hollister. She just started this photography company and she is wonderful! She is so relaxed and said, "We'll just do whatever we can - it will be great!" When she sent me some of the pics last night, I couldn't even believe how well they turned out! I had to keep staring at them! She is really an amazing photographer! She is sending me the rest of the photos in a week or so, so until then, just click on the link below to see some of the pics! Enjoy!

Pumpkin Patch visit

We were able to squeeze in a visit to the Pumpkin Patch tonight. The girls loved it! We took lots of pics and they rode the carousel and picked out pumpkins. The babies loved smelling the mums. So cute!

Our Smilin' Sadie

So, yes, we had another cute little baby girl and now it's almost been 3 months ago. It's amazing I have any time to take pictures. So, I took these pics two weeks ago. She is the easiest baby I've had. I guess she'd have to be, since she's number 5. She is so smiley and has the chunkiest cheeks ever! We all love kissing them! Even the twins smile when they see her and say, "Baby!"

Anna's New Chic Haircut

Anna's been asking for a while now to cut her hair and we've been waiting until it was long enough to donate. So, a couple of days ago the twins and Madeline were all down for a nap (not very usual) and so we decided to go for it. It is an A-line cut, so it's shorter in the back. She loves it and can't wait to look in the mirror any chance she gets. She looks so old now!

Our New Backyard

We should've taken pics before we redid our backyard. It looked like a jungle of weeds. We are loving it! The girls spend lots of time on the trampoline and we roasted marshmellows for smores for the first time tonight. We hope to have lots of fun summer nights!

Happy Birthday, Ella & Eva!

I can't believe my babies are already a year old! The year went by slow in the beginning, but the rest has definitely flown by. They are so much fun! Eva took 8 steps about two weeks ago and Ella still likes to walk with your assistance. They are saying "Mama" and "Dada" all the time and love peek-a-boo. They love it when you pretend that you are looking for them and then smile hugely when you say, "There you are!" They LOVE to eat! For breakfast they'll each have one and a half good-sized pancakes, plus some fruit! We can't feed them fast enough. We don't know where they put it!

This last Easter Sunday we went to Grandma & Grandpa Grow's house to celebrate their birthday. Here's a little video clip. After they started eating their cupcake, Grandma Grow gave them some ice cream. Their reactions were exactly the same. Too bad we only caught Eva on Video. So, if you see Eva, then you've seen Ella! :) We wish you were all there to celebrate with us! It won't be too long until they become big sisters . . . One more girl to add to the bunch!

10 months old already!

I can't believe the twins are 10 months old. They are so entertaining and cute! They look like little beetles crawling around on the floor. They love to take each other's pacifier or toy out of their hands, but the other one doesn't even flinch. They just take turns taking the pacifier, back and forth. When Ella gets excited she will flap her hands and make a face as if to say "Ooooooo", and Eva is starting to flap her hands more, but mostly starts jumping up and down. Ella is definately the drama queen of the two. Eva is a little more relaxed. They are starting to enjoy each other, too.

We also decided to include the whole family in the photo session we went to two weeks ago. That was an all day event. From the time of our appointment to the time we picked out the pictures, it was three hours later! I don't know that we will be doing that again soon! It's nice to have them though. Especially since our family will be growing come August.
